Halliard was born one summer about 23 years ago, when my mom brought home a pair of drawstring seersucker shorts to wear in the warm weather. Being young the shorts were lost shortly thereafter, but the comfort and versatility of the material left an impression.

I started passively looking for a pair of similar shorts several years after, but was unable to find a pair that held up to the standard set by the first. That is - until now.

The past couple of years, myself and my team have been working with manufacturers to create shorts that live up to the expectation set by the first pair.

Our shorts focus on a few key areas that make them truly unique:

Comfort - Achieved by our unique sizing, with a custom drawstring. Enhanced by using 100% cotton - no polyester, ever.

Quality - Achieved by utilizing a manufacturer specialized in seersucker. Enhanced by using an extremely thin mesh lining on the inside of every short, making them feel like a casual, thin, airy pair of khakis - while keeping a formal look from the outside.

Style - Achieved by our seersucker material and unique colorways.
